Windows in the emitter are a popular lightsaber hilt design feature offered by Ultrasabers. Windows in the emitter are small cutout sections near the emitter area of a lightsaber hilt that allow light from the LED to shine through. Ultrasabers uses several different designs of windows in the emitter, depending on the hilt. Some Ultrasabers lightsaber hilts include windows. Other hilts only offer windows as an upgrade. Other hilt don’t offer windows at all.

Ultrasabers Windows in the Emitter Design
The design, size and layout of the windows in the emitter may vary depending on the hilt. Some windows on Ultrasabers hilts are a little more horizontal, some are a bit more vertical, and some are even a series of small, circular holes. The Ultrasabers Scorpion series of lightsaber hilts incorporates both vertical windows and horizontal windows into the design. Ultrasabers Spectre features a series of vertical windows that gradually increase in length. Ultrasabers Liberator V3 uses a series of small circular holes, almost like tiny portholes, as windows in the emitter.
How Basic Ultrasabers Hilts Use Windows in the Emitter
The windows in the emitter are typically only offered as an optional upgrade feature on the more basic Ultrasabers lightsaber hilts. There are a few exceptions, however. Released in November 2018, all hilts in the Ultrasabers V5 lightsaber line include windows in the emitter. Also, Liberator V3 and Prophecy V3, which are somewhat basic hilts, each include some tiny, circular ‘porthole’ style windows.
How Premium Ultrasabers Hilts Use Windows in the Emitter
Windows in the emitter are not options on more expensive, premium Ultrasabers hilts. Either the hilt design includes windows in the emitter or the design doesn’t include windows in the emitter.
