Each of the three lightsabers features a different hilt design. The hilts appear to be generic lightsabers designs and are NOT based on the design of specific Star Wars characters (e.g. Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, etc.). Each Level 1 lightsaber includes a QR code that can be scanned to access training material in Lightsaber Academy app. The lightsaber toy itself, however, is not equipped with Bluetooth and does not interact with the app directly.

The Lightsaber Academy Interactive Battling System Lightsaber toy is a Bluetooth equipped, electronic lightsaber toy that lights up, makes lightsaber sounds, plays character phrases, and interacts directly with the Lightsaber Academy app. The lightsaber toy, which is not character specific in design, also features a light-up crystal chamber on the inside.

The motion-sensitive Smart-Hilt connects with the Lightsaber Academy app, following the speed, precision, and accuracy of the lightsaber’s movements. Aspiring Jedi (or Sith) may train with 5 masters and can earn points and unlock new lightsaber skills.

The Interactive Battling System Lightsaber toy enables wielders to: undergo training missions, duel with Star Wars characters, or duel with friends (note: dueling with a friend requires an additional lightsaber).
