The Saberproject Shop Notos lightsaber has been released. The custom saber is an original design that shares its name with the Greek god of the south wind. Configured as a lightsaber with an in-hilt LED (single color or color changing RGB), the saber runs on a Plecter Labs Crystal Focus 10 soundboard (CFX soundboard). Saberproject Shop released the Notos lightsaber in March 2020.

The Notos lightsaber is comprised of a machined aluminum hilt with anodized black and anodized gold accents. Although the hilt is mostly uniform in diameter, the emitter flares out slight. A recessed 12mm illuminated AV switch (multiple color options are available) is situated inside a shroud. Milled, stadium-shaped detailing flanks either side of the switch. Cutout sections in the shroud reveal the grooved grip section beneath. A Covertec wheel attaches to the lower part of the hilt. A rounded pommel with sound vents caps off the end of the hilt.
Notos balances elegant, and familiar aesthetics–including it’s Prequel Obi-Wan Kenobi style shroud–with a pragmatic design for dueling and maneuvering. The hilt’s internal 3D printed chassis minimizes the shifting of the saber’s electronics. The hilt charges via a 2.1mm recharge port. The 18650 protected Panasonic 3.7 V 3400 mAh li-ion battery is also removable.
The Notos lightsaber includes: a removable blade, a kill key (for the recharge port), USB cable, hex wrench, and charger are included. Note that the charger has an EU plug but may be used worldwide with a plug adapter.
