The two sides join together in a point on the top end of the blade and connect to the cylindrical tang (or stem) at the base of the blade. The Ectoplasm blade design features a bold and lively tye-dye-esque mixing of bright and vibrant colors. The colorful Ectoplasm design differs from many other flat acrylic lightsaber blades that commonly use an engraved blade lightning pattern.
Ectoplasm’s dominant color, a radioactive green, is joined by smatterings of yellow and bright orange. A few dabs of dark blue quietly offset the other bright colors of the blade. Finally, Ectoplasm maintains patches of the original clear acrylic throughout the length of the blade.
As with other flat acrylic lightsaber blades, Ectoplasm looks the most vibrant when illuminated with a bright white LED. Even without any illumination, however, the colorful blade exudes energy and vitality.
The flat blade portion of Ectoplasm is about 15.5 inches long. The blade tang (stem) is about 2 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. Ectoplasm is a show blade only as is not duel worthy.
