This is a One Replicas SS-Gf Super Stunt Empty Hilt [Etsy AFFILIATE LINK] and it’s media blasted with an anodized clear coat (One Replicas also offers a brushed aluminum variant). SS-Gf is a slimmed down Graflex style lightsaber hilt, designed for easier handling and maneuvering during dueling. One Replicas specializes in designing slimmed down versions of popular movie inspired hilts, including SSQy Super Stunt (a slimmed down Qui-Gon Jinn style hilt).
The SS-Gf Super Stunt is designed to accommodate a 1 inch diameter blade, although I find that my Ultrasabers 1 inch diameter blades are slightly too wide for the hilt and would need to be sanded down a bit to fit. Other 1 inch diameter blades from other saber companies seem to work fine. The emitter area features bunny ears, one of the signature pieces of Graflex style lightsabers. The bunny ears are removable. The emitter area also features a dummy switch that conveniently doubles as a blade retention screw.
Two small screws attach the clamp card to the low-profile activation box, which is a nice alternative to gluing the card in place. Moving father down the hilt, the grip section is built into the saber hilt along with some screw holes. Finally, the included D-ring can be attached to the pommel. The pommel is removable, which allows easier access to inside of the saber hilt for electronics installs.
The lightsaber hilt looks complete and display worthy right out of the box. You could either use the hilt as a display piece or as a cosplay accessory, if you just add the D-ring to the hilt. You could also either do your own electronics install or commission a saber smith to install the electronics for you. The inside diameter (ID) is about 1.14 inches (29 mm) and the length of the saber hilt is about 10.5 inches long. The outside diameter (OD) is under 1.5 inches.
A side-by-side comparison with the Star Wars: The Black Series Rey (Jedi Training) Force FX lightsaber demonstrates that the placement of the elements on One Replicas SS-Gf and Hasbro The Black Series Rey (Jedi Training) lightsaber hilts are pretty much the same.
