Darkside Engineering is known for crafting over 20 styles of blade plugs, most of which utilize a rotary shaver head in the design.

The blade plug uses an aluminum housing, cone, and a ring of jagged ‘shredder’ pieces surrounding the cone. The use of the middle cone and rotary shaver head give the blade plug a turbine feel. The ring or forked ‘shredder’ pieces add ruggedness and sharpness and to the feel of the blade plug. The jagged violence of the blade plug would complement a dark side lightsaber hilts.
