The Illuminated Saber Starwalker Lightsaber has been released. The custom saber, an original design, is influenced by the design of Original Trilogy lightsabers including the Skywalker lightsaber and Obi-Wan Kenobi lightsaber. The midsection of the hilt may be configured as a windowed crystal reveal (crystal chamber/chassis sold separately). The Starwalker Lightsaber is available as an empty hilt capable of accepting electronics. Illuminated Saber offers installation services as well. Illuminated Saber released the Starwalker Lightsaber in September 2017.

The Starwalker lightsaber is comprised of a polished aluminum hilt with a polished finish and anodized gold and anodized black accents. The hilt is made up of four main pieces: blade holder with shroud, main body, lower grip section, and vented pommel. The blade holder accepts a 1 in diameter blade (not included) and is equipped with blade retention screw. The inside diameter (ID) of the hilt is 1.25 in.
The hilt features a windowed reveal midsection with several configuration options (chassis/crystal chamber sold separately). The Illuminated Saber Shapeways store offers several chassis and reveal solutions. The end user may also design and create their own chassis/crystal chamber.
The hilt features a polished aluminum emitter shroud and bunny ears. The low profile control (with dual 12mm switch holes, no switches included) visually connects the shroud to the anodized gold grenade grip section in the middle of the hilt. The raised vertical grips, which encircle the lower grip section, are anodized black. All necessary machine screws are included.

Illuminated Saber Design and Concepts (ISDC), based in the United States, is a custom saber company that creates empty hilts and “Ready to Install” (RTI) hilt kits. The company accepts commissions for projects as well.
