Saberforge Rebel Lightsaber Unveiled | New Saber Alert

The Saberforge Rebel lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber, which features a tsuba (hand guard), is inspired by the design of the Kanan Jarrus lightsaber. The finish options are: Very Light Silver Weathering (shown in the article), Black and Silver Weathering, or Grey and Silver Weathering. The Rebel lightsaber was released on November 3, 2014. The design has been discontinued.

Saberforge Rebel is comprised of aluminum and accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. The emitter features a blade holder, an s-curve emitter shroud and tsuba (hand guard), which is the widest section of the hilt. The hilt narrows and a short cylindrical greeblie is situated on the front face of a metal band. The activation switch and recharge port of situated on the rear of the hilt. A decorative activation box with a green arrow and red arrow on its side attaches to the middle of the hip. A Covertec wheel is located near the base of the hilt and a notched vented pommel caps off the end of the hilt.

Although the Rebel lightsaber has been discontinued, the Rebel Emitter is available as an Adaptive Saber Parts (ASP) component. ASP is a mix and match lightsaber building system developed by Saberforge.
