Custom saber company 7 Chambers has unveiled the TOR Acolyte Lightsaber. The custom saber, made in collaboration with 5280 Printing, is inspired by the Sith Acolyte lightsaber in the Star Wars: The Old Republic video game. The lightsaber is available as an empty hilt capable of accepting electronics.

The hilt is metallic silver in color, featuring an attractive standalone design right out of the box. An emitter shroud attaches to the top of the hilt. The hilt tapers at the neck, and a series of ‘pinstripe’ vertical grooves encircle the lower third of the hilt. The elegant design is friendly to additional customization including acid etching, wrap, powder coating, etc.
The aluminum hilt, which is about 13.2 inches long (335 mm long), features a brushed finish. The outside diameter of the hilt ranges from about 1.18 inches (30 mm) to about 1.5 inches (38 mm). The blade holder is designed to accommodate a 1 inch diameter blade (not included). A dedicated blade plug is included. A vented pommel with a D-ring attachment caps off the end of the hilt.
The main activation switch and the aux switch both use a bespoke switch plunger system. One 2mm Allen wrench and two M4x07 screws are included for blade retention and the heatsink/pixel holder.
5280 Printing offers a 3D printed chassis to fit the TOR Acolyte in the 5280 Printing Shapeways store.
