The Republic lightsaber is comprised of a machined aluminum hilt with a polished aluminum core (uncoated) and anodized gold shrouds, rings, and other accents. Hilt measures 335 mm long with an outside diameter (OD) of 32-36mm in the grip section.

Multiple gold shrouds attach to the core hilt, giving The Republic a distinguished vibe. The slanted emitter shroud features windows for blade illumination to shine through. An additional shroud below the metallic red button creates a layering effect in the grip section. A series of gold rings attach to the lower part of the hilt.

The installed pixel saber version is equipped with a budget xenopixel or Golden Harvest V3 soundboard. The installed saber comes with an exclusive The Republic sound font. Sound font artist GreyScale Fonts created the sound font. Installed pixel sabers include: blade (28″, 32″ or 36″ – other sizes available on request), charge cable/external battery charger, blade retention screws and instructions. AusSabers states that “[soundboard] access is challenging with this hilt due to the way it has to be engineered.”
