Although the game features 8 different lightsaber blade color options in total, several of the colors are not unlocked until late in the gameplay.
At the beginning of the game, however, Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis starts with a blue lightsaber. Players may optionally switch the blade color to green or orange. The orange lightsaber was initially exclusively available to those pre-ordered the game, however, a January 2020 game update unlocked the blade color so that all users could select it.
The additional colors purple, yellow, cyan, magenta and indigo lightsaber blade colors only become available late in the game after Cal takes his broken lightsaber to Ilum for repairs. Unfortunately red and Darksaber style black are not playable colors in the game.
Released in November 2019, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a single-player, action-adventure game set 14 years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The game introduces four new lightsaber blade colors to Star Wars Canon including: orange, cyan, magenta, and indigo. Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox One.
