Master Replicas Star Wars Force FX Lightsaber line
Master Replicas originated the Star Wars Force FX Lightsaber, an innovative and revolutionary battery powered, prop replica lightsaber featuring sound, light, and motion sensitivity. Master Replicas launched the first Force FX Lightsaber, an Anakin Skywalker (AOTC) Force FX Lightsaber, in 2002 to coincide with the theatrical release of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The company released a total of 12 Star Wars Force FX lightsabers between 2002 and 2007, selling over 1 million units. Hasbro took over the Star Wars Force FX lightsaber line in 2008 and continues to manufacture and release new Force FX lighsabers.
