What is a legacy lightsaber? (Lightsaber Terminology)

The Star Wars legacy lightsaber line is an assortment of 10 high-end character inspired lightsabers sold exclusively at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. Galaxy’s Edge is new Star Wars land at Disneyland and Disney World. A legacy lightsaber lights up, makes sound, and features a metal hilt. Legacy lightsabers range in price from $109.99 to $199.99 (for the set of 2 Ahsoka lightsabers), but may cost a bit more depending on the selected accessories.

Legacy lightsabers are sold at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, a specialized ‘relics’ and ‘galactic artifacts’ store at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. Legacy lightsabers are pre-built and ready to sell, unlike the build-your-own lightsabers from Savi’s Workshop, another lightsaber store at Galaxy’s Edge.

Legacy Lightsaber Accessories (some are optional upgrades)
• hard-shell storage box and display case (features chevron/logo corresponding to the hilt model)
• detachable blade (part of the Universal Blade System that’s also compatible with build-your-own lightsabers from Savi’s Workshop)
• belt clip (so that the hilt can be worn on a waistband)
• carrying bag with strap (features decorative Aurebesh script on the exterior)
• lightsaber hilt stand
