The hilt is a Graflex-style lightsaber hilt with a twist. The hilt features black bunny ears at the top and a Graflex-style emitter area. The Starkiller Hilt has a blue greeblie on one side by the bunny ears and a white greebie on the other side.
The hilt predominantly a chromed-silver color with brass access marks. Speaking of brass, the hilt is actually comprised of 20 gauge chromed brass (many other hilts are made from aluminum). The hilt weighs about 11 ounces and is 10 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter (excluding the grips).
The middle of the hilt features a decorative activation box. The activation box seems to be made out of plastic with some gold-colored accents in the center.
Vertical grip strips, made out of plastic, encircle the base of the hilt. The pommel is not removable (at least on the default static version of the hilt). The pommel does include a handy ring you could attach the hilt to a belt clip.
Doing a side by side comparison between the High Council Sabers Starkiller Lightsaber Hilt and the Star Wars: The Black Series Rey (Jedi Training) Force FX lightsaber reveals a somewhat similar overall design and shape of the hilt. The Starkiller Lightsaber Hilt is a bit shorter and narrower that the Rey (Jedi Training) hilt.
All in all, the High Council Sabers Starkiller Lightsaber Hilt is fun Graflex-style lightsaber hilt with twist.
