If you’re considering purchasing a Star Wars Master Replicas 0.45 scale lightsaber, then you’re going to be purchasing it from eBay [AFFILIATE LINK] or other secondary markets because Master Replicas lightsabers are out of production. You need to know what to look for, especially if you get one used, to ensure that you receive a complete item. It’s pretty easy for your purchase to be missing you some of the smaller pieces.

Watch Star Wars Master Replicas 0.45 scale lightsabers: What’s in the box and what you should know on YouTube
Here’s a brief tour of everything included with a Star Wars Master Replicas 0.45 scale lightsaber. The example I’m using in this walk through is a 0.45 scale Darth Sidious dark chrome variant (Best Buy exclusive).
The Master Replicas 0.45 scale lightsaber boxes are pretty cool. The box features a nice image of the lightsaber on the front and if the item is a convention exclusive or other kind of exclusive, the exclusivity will be listed on the front of the box. The back of the box lists a brief description along with the barcode. The side of the box also features an image of the lightsaber, like the spin of a book, so you could easily store a collection of 0.45 scale lightsabers in the box on your bookshelf. The box is often sealed shut with a foil sticker on the side.
One of the coolest parts about the box, though, is on the inside. When you flip open the box, the panel features a biography and image of the owner of the lightsaber. The lightsaber itself is encased in a clear plastic shell. Sometimes people sell the 0.45 lightsabers without the plastic shell, so watch out for that.
You can access the lightsaber by removing the plastic shell, which can be a little tricky sometimes. Removing the plastic shell reveals a felt covered piece of molded plastic.
The black base of the lightsaber stand fits into a slot in the lower part of the molded plastic. Each 0.45 scale lightsaber stand is customized to the specific lightsaber model. For example, the stand that I have says, “Star Wars Best Buy Exclusive Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Darth Sidious Lightsaber.”
A few additional items are tucked underneath the base of the lightsaber stand. One of the items is a small, thick card-stock Certificate of Authenticity. The Certificate of Authenticity is generic and is not tailored to the specific lightsaber model like the stand. The other items are two plastic supporting pieces that attach to the stand base to complete the stand. The plastic supporting stand pieces can often go missing.
Finally, the lightsaber itself fits into the the top slot of the molded plastic. The top slot is molded to the shape of the specific lightsaber you’re buying.
If your order looks like it’s missing some of these pieces, make sure you check behind the molded plastic piece. Sometimes some of the smaller pieces will be hidden back there at the bottom of the box.
That’s all, folks! I hope you enjoyed this tour of a Master Replicas 0.45 scale lightsaber.
