These red day blade covers are awesome if you plan on using the Kylo Ren lightsaber during the day or in an environment with a lot of light. Since the blade covers are red and feature a flame-like texture, they make the Kylo Ren lightsaber look cool even when the lightsaber isn’t turned on! The blade covers are also great for cosplay photo ops.
In addition to these Flame Day Blade Colors, CosplayCovers also makes standard, clear version of the Flame Blade Covers that will only turn red when the saber is illuminated. CosplayCovers also makes blade covers tailored to other Black Series Force FX lightsabers and Disney Parks lightsabers.
Of course, the blade covers do look the best when the lightsaber is turned on. Even though it’s fairly bright in this room, the red color is quite vibrant rather than being drowned out by the light.
The Flame Day Blade Covers are show blade covers, so you should not duel with the blade covers installed (Force FX lightsabers are not duel worthy lightsabers, anyway). The blade covers are a little fragile, so dueling could break off some of the pieces from the blade cover pretty easily.
