DarkWolf Sabers Dark Ronin Lightsaber has been released. The custom saber, a black and gold katana lightsaber, is an original design. The Dark Ronin Lightsaber is available as an budget friendly RGB in-hilt LED sound saber or Proffie pixel saber. DarkWolf Sabers released a 10 unit run of the Dark Ronin lightsaber in mid August 2021. The design is exclusive to DarkWolf Sabers. In July 2022, the company expressed an intent release a new run “soon”.

Dark Ronin lightsaber is comprised of a machined aluminum hilt that measures 12 inches long. Hilt features a black and gold finish with silver accents. Blade socket accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. Hilt design features a weathered s-curve emitter with two types of windows in the emitter: a series of vertical, stadium-shaped windows and a series of circular “porthole” windows in the emitter. An additional series of “porthole” windows are situated below the disc-shaped tsuba (handguard). Cutouts in the lower gold-colored shroud create finger grooves for the wielder.
Hilt grip separates from the upper part of the hilt to reveal the chassis core to access the soundboard and electronics. An optional coupler may combine two of the hilts together to form a double-bladed saberstaff.
DarkWolf Sabers offers multiple electronics installation options: budget in-hilt LED sound saber (with RGBX Eco LED) or pixel saber with Proffieboard V2.2. Both electronics configurations include a 1 inch diameter blade (32 inch or 36 inch blade length option). DarkWolf Sabers does not offer an empty hilt (DIY) option for the Dark Ronin lightsaber.
