Phoenix Props Tetsuyama The Iron Mountain has been unveiled. The custom saber, an original design, takes design inspiration from a Samurai’s katana. Phoenix Props offers the Tetsuyama The Iron Mountain, a limited run, as an empty hilt (for DIY or display) with a mostly black finish. The company began accepting pre-orders in late November 2023. An early bird discount is available until November 29, 2023.

Tetsuyama The Iron Mountain lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined aluminum hilt with a predominantly anodized black finish along with a brass emitter and activation switch. Grip section features a striking, deep machined diamond pattern paying homage to a katana’s tsuka-ito wrap. The tsuba (hand guard) and s-curve emitter section somewhat resemble the shape and style of Kanan Jarrus’ lightsaber and Ezra Bridger’s third lightsaber.
Hilt provides ample opportunity for customization and making the hilt your own. The ringed ends of the grip section create a convenient opportunity for adding a custom wrap to the hilt. Buyer may remove anodizing with a laser engraver in order to etch and modify the hilt. Buyer may also use sandpaper weather the hilt, selectively revealing some of the original silver finish.
