The Jawa’s Junkyard The Claw Lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber is inspired by the design of leaked TFA concept art for a Wampa claw lightsaber. The project is a collaboration between Larz’s Bone Works and Jawa’s Junkyard.
The machined aluminum hilt features a PA66 (polymide/nylon) claw. The Claw, a limited run, is available as an empty hilt that may accept electronics. Jawa’s Junkyard began accepting pre-orders for The Claw in September 2021.

Designed by Larz’s Bone Works, The Claw lightsaber is comprised of a fully machined aluminum hilt with a PA66 (nylon) ‘claw’ with three pin-hole sound vents. The hilt features a slanted emitter, anodized gunmetal gray shroud, and Graflex style metallic red button. The hilt uses a 1 inch diameter blade holder and features a 28 mm main inside diameter (ID). An optional chassis will be available for purchase from Jawa’s Junkyard or as a print-it-yourself (PIY) digital file.
The hilt kit includes a black PA66 (nylon) claw for the lower half of the hilt. The buyer add-on a bone effect painting service from Larz’s Bone Works. The buyer may create their own painted bone effect as well. Jawa’s Junkyard plans to will release a DIY guide for buyers to create their own painted bone effect.
