KR Sabers Luke Ep 8 Target Exclusive Blade Plug Full Review
This is a KR Sabers Luke Ep 8 Target Exclusive Blade Plug. Both KR Sabers (United Kingdom) and The Custom Saber Shop (United States) sell the blade plug. I purchased it from The Custom Saber Shop.

The blade plug is 1 inch in diameter. Although most KR Saber blade plugs also come in a 7/8 inch diameter, the Luke Ep 8 Target Exclusive Blade Plug is only available in 1 inch diameter.
The blade plug is machined entirely made out of AL 6061 aluminium. Blade plugs made entirely from metal are uncommon. Most blade plugs use plastic tubing (commonly polycarbonate or PLA), although metal is commonly used at the top portion of blade plugs.
The blade plug is called ‘Target Exclusive’ because apparently the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Target Exclusive DVD includes a brief behind-the-scenes shot of the Luke Skywalker lightsaber hilt in the prop department. The design of the KR Sabers Luke Ep 8 Target Exclusive Blade Plug is inspired by the brief behind-the-scene shot of the hilt.
It’s a fun blade plug design, however it is best suited specifically to complete the look (i.e. increase the screen accuracy) of a Luke Skywalker ROTJ style lightsaber hilt. Despite the ring of holes around the top, the blade plug blocks out all of the light from the lightsaber. The ring of holes is not designed to align with the light source of the hilt, so the Luke Ep 8 Target Exclusive Blade Plug does not allow for some of the cool lighting effects you’ll see with many other blade plug styles.
