The LDM Custom Sabers 51TH Commando 2.0 lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber, a sleek and maneuverable ‘Sith trooper’ style saber, is designed for dueling and spinning. Released in July 2016, the LDM Custom Sabers 51TH Commando 2.0 saber continues in the tradition of its 2013 predecessor 51TH Commando PV. The saber is available as a DIY empty hilt, a stunt saber (in-hilt LED, no sound), or a sound saber with an in-hilt LED (a neopixel saber option was added later).

The 51th Commando 2.0 lightsaber hilt is a machined aluminum hilt with a simple, elegant design. The hilt features a slanted emitter with a u-shaped cutout. The two choke points straddle the activation switch (various illuminated and non-illuminated AV switch options are available). The double-choke point architecture provides flexibility and maneuverability in dueling and spinning. A faux leather wrap option is available for the lower grip section. The diameter tapers at the end of the hilt. A Covertec wheel may be added as an upgrade.
Multiple hilt finish options are available ranging from clean, to powder coated, to weathered. The The 51th Commando 2.0 lightsaber is available in multiple configurations including: empty hilt (for DIY), stunt saber (in-hilt LED, no sound), in-hilt LED sound saber, or neopixel saber (with KR Sabers Verso soundboard or Crystal Focus soundboard).
