The Illiv Orfa lightsaber is a single-bladed red lightsaber wielded by Illiv Orfa. Illiv Orfa is a Rebellion era Twi’lek female Dark Jedi in Star Wars Legends. She steals a Force-imbued crystal called the Shard of the Serpent. Orfa eventually engages in a lightsaber duel with an individual dispatched to recover the crystal.

Illiv Orfa Lightsaber in Star Wars Legends
Around the time of 1 ABY, Illiv Orfa steals a mysterious crystal called the Shard of the Serpent from a sleeping Mustafarian named Ikt. The crystal, which is imbued with the power of the Force, features a distinctive, serpent-like flaw.
After Ikt discover the crystal is missing, he hires a spacer to track down the thief and recover the crystal. During the search, the spacer explores ruins and an alter on Mustafar and finds Illiv Orfa. Orfa rejects the spacer’s attempts to bargain for the crystal. She ignites her red-bladed lightsaber and attacks the spacer. The spacer defeats her and kills her in the duel, recovering the crystal. Ikt rewards the spacer 20,000 credits for returning the crystal to him.
Behind the Scenes
Illiv Orfa first appears in the massively multiplayer online-role playing game (MMORPG) Star Wars Galaxies in The Serpent Shard quest. She is a non-player character in the game. Illiv Orfa and her lightsaber also appear in Star Galaxies Trading Card Game in the Galactic Hunters expansion card “Serpent Shard” and in the Threat of the Conqueror expansion card “Illiv Orfa”.
