Shadowfoil Props Laser Duel lightsaber pair has been unveiled. The pair of two custom sabers are inspired by the Ralph McQuarrie concept art piece entitled “Laser Duel”. The project is a collaboration between Shadowfoil Props and Phoenix Props. The Laser Duel pair will become available for pre-order in early 2022.

Each Laser Duel hilt is comprised of a two-toned, machined aluminum hilt with satin black anodizing. The hilt is about 9.35 inches long (237.5mm). A curved, trumpet-like emitter flares out of the top of the hilt. The hilt uses a 1 inch diameter blade holder and a single switch setup. The outside diameter (OD) of the grip section is about 1.5 inches (38mm) and the inside diameter (ID) is 33mm in the body and 29mm in the pommel.
The two hilts in the Laser Duel pair are similar in design, but feature some differences. Differences include: size/spacing of the horizontal grooves, size of the polygon ‘rings’ on the hilt, and the size of the pommel.
