Ultimate Works SO Brother Lightsaber Released | New Saber Alert
The Pach Store released the Ultimate Works SO Brother lightsaber. The custom saber, a saberstaff, is inspired by the design of the Savage Opress lightsaber. The SO Brother lightsaber is available as an empty hilt, hilt with connectors (requires Asteria Heart soundboard) or as an installed neopixel saber equipped with an Asteria OR Proffie soundboard. SO Brother, a limited run, is expected to ship in late December 2020 or January 2021.

The Ultimate Works SO Brother lightsaber is a machined aluminum hilt that measures 266mm long. The inside diameter (ID) is about 25.4mm and the outside diameter (OD) is about 36mm. The hilt accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. The hilt is comprised of three main pieces: the middle body section and two emitter pieces (from claw to just below the neck and aux switch).
An emitter claw attached to the uppermost part of each end’s slanted emitter. A small D-ring attaches to the lower part of the emitter area. The knurled red button serves as the activation switch and the silver switch below it serves as an aux switch. Discreet sound vents are situated in the middle grip section of the hilt, tucked under the black grips.
The installed version of the Ultimate Works SO Brother lightsaber requires two chassis and two soundboards. The installed lightsaber is equipped with a Asteria or Proffie soundboard and configured as a neopixel saber. A proprietary removable chassis minimizes damage to the internals.
The Ultimate Works SO Brother lightsaber is available for pre-order from The Pach Store, a Hong Kong based custom saber company. Ultimate Works is manufacturing the hilt.
