The Jolee Bindo lightsaber is a comprised of a cylindrical hilt that’s mostly metallic silver in color. The single-bladed lightsaber emits a green blade and later a blue blade.

Jolee Bindo serves the Jedi Order and the Republic around the time of the Great Sith War. The Great Sith War is a series of battles between the Jedi Order and the Republic and Exar’s Kun‘s Sith Empire and its allies. The Jedi Order considers Padawan Jolee Bindo to be headstrong and defiant. On missions, Bindo commonly strays from orders from the Jedi Council in order to do what he believes is right.

Right before the Great Sith War, Jolee Bindo’s wife, Nayama, becomes intrigued by Exar Kun’s teachings. When she expresses her intent leave the Jedi Order and join Exar Kun’s Sith Empire, she tries to convince Jolee Bindo to defect as well. Bindo rejects the offer, and Nayama attacks him. The husband and wife fight each other in a contentious lightsaber duel. Bindo disarms and defeats her in battle, but cannot bring himself to kill her. She flees and joins Exar Kun’s Sith Empire as planned. She goes on to kill many Jedi during the war.

The Jedi Council chooses not to punish Jolee Bindo for his actions, even though Bindo’s compassion enables his wife to join the Sith Empire. Instead, the Council determines he has learned his lesson and announces their intention to promote Bindo to Jedi Knight. Bindo becomes disillusioned with the wisdom of the Council and goes into self imposed exile on the Wookiee homeworld, Kashyyyk.

Jolee Bindo and Revan cross paths. Bindo joins Revan’s group for time. By the end of the Dark Wars, Jolee Bindo drops out of public view.
