How the sousaphone lightsaber battles work is each sousaphone player creates a low, lightsaber-like hum with their instrument while one-handedly dueling the other player with a lightsaber (or in some cases a stick). Many of the sousaphone lightsaber battles appear to be recorded during some downtime inside of a school band room or classroom.
