You usually need to spend a pretty large amount of money in order to qualify for a free lightsaber of any kind. The amount of money you’ll need to spend varies by sale, but you typically need to spend at least $500 in order to qualify for a single free lightsaber.
Free Random Initiate
When Ultrasabers offers free lightsabers, one of the lowest value sabers they’ll offer is a Free Random Initiate. Theoretically, a Free Random Initiate could be any of the V2, V3 or V4 Initiate or Dark Initiate hilt models, including LE variants. Free Random Initiates are stunt sabers (no sound). Most of the time I’ve received a ‘Free Random Initiate’, it’s been an Initiate V2 or Dark Initiate V2 of some kind. No matter which ‘Free Random Initiate’ hilt you receive, it will come with a 24 inch midgrade blade that’s already attached to the hilt. There’s no option to get a different blade length or thickness on a Free Random Initiate.
Free Grab Bag Saber
Qualifying for a Free Grab Bag Saber typically requires the buyer to spend a bit more money than qualifying for a Free Random Initiate. All Grab Bag Sabers are stunt sabers (no sound) that will typically be valued at around $70-$100. Most Free Grab Bag Sabers will be some of the more basic Ultrasabers lightsabers. Free Grab Bag Sabers will include a full length 36 inch midgrade blade that will be attached to the hilt.
Free Mystery Box Saber
Ultrasabers usually requires the buyer to spend A LOT of money in order to qualify for a Free Mystery Box Saber, often around $1000 or so. The Free Mystery Box Saber is similar to the Free Grab Bag Saber, but there are a few difference. Although most Free Mystery Box Sabers will be valued at around $75-$100, it’s possible to receive a high valued lightsaber. Most Free Mystery Box Sabers will be stunt sabers, but it’s possible to receive a sound saber as well. Like Free Grab Bag Sabers, Free Mystery Box Sabers include a full length 36 inch midgrade blade. The blade shipped detached from the hilt and the Free Mystery Box Saber includes a hex wrench to attach the blade to the hilt.
How to Claim Your Free Ultrasabers Lightsabers
Not all Ultrasabers sales and promotions include free lightsabers. When Ultrasabers is offering free lightsabers, the free lightsabers and their corresponding promo codes will be listed on the Ultrasabers home page. You MUST enter the promo codes in order to claim the free lightsabers.
Sometimes the Ultrasabers sale will include one or two free lightsabers. On rare occasions, Ultrasabers will offer all three free lightsabers. The free lightsaber promo codes usually can be combined, meaning you could receive multiple free lightsabers with your order. For example, let’s say you’re spending $1000 on an Ultrasabers order. If spending $500 means you qualify for a Free Random Initiate and spending $1000 means you qualify for a Free Grab Bag Saber, then you would be able to claim both the Free Random Initiate and the Free Grab Bag Saber.
Other Free Lightsabers
Very rarely, Ultrasabers will offer other types of free lightsabers. Around the time of Halloween 2018, Ultrasabers offer a free lightsaber called a Frankensaber. The Frankensaber is supposedly a cobbled together lightsaber that uses a mix of pommels, emitters and bodies from various Ultrasabers lightsaber hilts.
For the most part, however, Ultrasabers limits their free lightsaber promotions to: Free Random Initiate, Free Grab Bag Saber, and Free Mystery Box Saber. You usually need to spend a lot of money on an Ultrasabers order to qualify for any of the free lightsabers as well.
