Vader’s Vault collaborated with Phoenix Props on the project. The hilt, designed by Gustavo Canales, is manufactured by Phoenix Props. Vader’s Vault is offering the saber as a Limited Edition installed version. Vader’s Vault allows buyers to select from five styles of weathering (or no weathering at all). PlecterPixel is also available as an upgrade. The saber includes the Young Solo soundfont by sound designer KSith.
In addition to selling fulling installed versions of The Light, Vader’s Vault will also allow lightsaber enthusiasts to mail in their own empty hilts of The Light for electronics installation and weathering services.
The Ben Solo lightsaber has captured the imagination of many lightsaber enthusiasts since the lightsaber’s screen debut in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The lightsaber, which appears only briefly during a series of flashbacks in the film, possesses multiple design similarities to Kylo Ren’s crossguard lightsaber, especially in the pommel area.
