How the the blade cover works is you just slide the sleeve over the blade of the saber. The flame elements of the blade cover should point up when you install the blade cover onto the blade. Make sure you get the right size blade cover for the your saber–CosplayCovers makes blade covers designed for The Black Series Force FX lightsabers and Disney Parks lightsabers. You can also make custom request for blade covers for blades with other diameters.
The blade cover I received is designed for the Star Wars: The Black Series Rey (Jedi Training) Force FX lightsaber. The blade covers are show blade covers (NOT for dueling). The covers are highly detailed and have a really cool texture. The sleeve covers up almost the entire length of the blade and has a open end on the top.
One thing that I like about using the Flame Blade Cover with a blue lightsaber blade makes the blade looks icy, almost in a Game of Thrones sort of way. The Flame Blade Covers vastly improve the look of the Force FX lightsabers, especially the Kylo Ren lightsaber. The texture adds character to an otherwise ordinary blade.
