The Hasbro Yoda Force FX lightsaber has been unveiled. The Yoda lightsaber is second lightsaber in the new Star Wars: The Black Series Force FX lightsaber line, a series of realistic, Star Wars character lightsabers that use a real metal hilt and light up and make lightsaber sounds.

UPDATE 12/2020: Originally released in 2015, Hasbro discontinued the Yoda Force FX lightsaber. Hasbro commonly resurrects discontinued designs, however, so the company may release a new Yoda Force FX lightsaber at some point. Until then, fans may search for the discontinued lightsaber in the secondary market (affiliate link).

Yoda Force FX Lightsaber Description and Specs
The Yoda Force FX lightsaber includes the lightsaber (with non-removable blade) and a clear plastic lightsaber stand/wall mount. The Yoda Force FX lightsaber hilt section measures about 8 inches long from the pommel to emitter shroud and is about 1.375 inches in diameter. The hilt is small, but scaled up slightly from a Yoda size to human size. The entire lightsaber, including the hilt and blade, measures about 33.625 inches long.
Lightsaber Blade, Visual Effects, and Sound Effects
The blade is shorter than most other Force FX lightsabers, measuring about 26.5 inches across. The blade, a permanently attached string blade with a string of LEDs contained in the blade, creates the lightsaber scrolling effect during ignition and retraction. The lightsaber sound effects include: ignition, retraction and a motion-sensitive swing, clash and idle hum.
Yoda Force FX Lightsaber Hilt
The Yoda Force FX lightsaber hilt, a real metal hilt, features black plastic accents in the emitter shroud area and the switch section. The the decorative, green accent LED does not illuminate. Wide, black vertical grips encircle the lower part of the hilt. The grips are made from rubber. A knurled, vented pommel caps of the end of the hilt. Unscrew the pommel in order to access the battery pack. The Yoda Force FX lightsaber requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). Yoda Hasbro states the lightsaber is for ages 14 and up.
Prior to releasing this Black Series lightsaber, Hasbro had previously released a Yoda Force FX lightsaber as part of the discontinued product line of Signature Series Force FX lightsabers.
