Ignition Saber Co. Ocularis lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber, an original design, features an angled emitter, bunny ears, and lavish shroud layering in the emitter and pommel area. Ignition Saber Co. offers the Ocularis lightsaber, a limited run, as an empty hilt capable of accepting electronics. Due to the complexity of the design, the hilt is only intended for very light dueling. The company began accepting pre-orders for the hilt in late November 2023.

Ocularis Lightsaber Description and Specs
Ocularis is a mostly 6061 aluminum hilt with brass accents near the emitter. Hilt is comprised of 16 individual parts, 18 screws, and 13 brass washers. Intricate shroud layering in the emitter and pommel create rugged industrial aesthetic and distinctive profile. An angled emitter, bunny ears, knurled button and additional greeblies pay tribute to the legendary Skywalker lightsaber (i.e. Graflex lightsaber).
The hilt’s lower grip attaches to emitter/switch section with an L-lock system. A brass thumbscrew secures the two section. The L-lock system somewhat resembles the J-lock system utilized by Graflex flashguns. Hilt may be configured with a two-button setup. Requires two brass tactile switches (not included).
Sabersmith Azy’s Workshop developed the original version of Ocularis. The sabermith specializes in creating high-end, one-of-one artisan lightsaber hilts. Ignition Saber Co. collaborated with Azy’s Workshop to release of small run of the intricate and stunning design. Hilts from the run have some minor changes from the original version.
Hilt kit includes a dedicated black SLS nylon chassis (3D printed). Chassis accepts Proffieboard 2.2 or Proffieboard 3.9 soundboards, removable 18650 li-ion battery, and 28 mm bass speaker. Tim McCarthy of the company Tierfon Orbital designed the chassis. He is also available to assemble and install the hilt for an additional fee. The front section of the chassis houses a blade pixel PCB and round 16mm glass or quartz marble (not included). Tierfon Orbital also offers an intricate master chassis with a brass and aluminum crystal chamber.
