Jawa’s Junkyard Karre Lightsaber (Visions Katana) has been unveiled. The custom, katana-style saber, which features a shield-like hand guard, is inspired by the Karre lightsaber in the animated series Star Wars: Visions (2021). Jawa’s Junkyard offers Karre as an empty hilt for display or a DIY electronics installation. The company began accepting pre-orders for the hilt in early July 2023.

The Karre lightsaber is comprised of a machined T6 6061 aluminum lightsaber hilt with an anodized silver, black and red color scheme. Hilt uses a 1 inch diameter blade socket and has an internal diameter (ID) of 28mm.
Hilt features a bold, shield-like emitter shroud, red rocker switch (two-button setup), and a series of raised, vertical grips in the lower part of the hilt. Control box, which is hinged, may open to reveal a crystal chamber. The crystal chamber, which is supported through a chassis, is not included. A steel, rectangular H-ring attaches to the base of the hilt.
According to Star Wars lore, the Galactic Empire creates and raises Force-sensitive twins Karre and Am to fight the New Republic.
