The Saber Merchant Zero.3 Lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber, an original design, features two rotating reveal doors and an angled emitter with angled window slots. Zero.3, a limited run of 50 units, is available as an empty hilt capable of accepting electronics. The Saber Merchant began accepting pre-orders for the Zero.3 lightsaber in late October 2022.

The Zero.3 lightsaber is comprised of a machined aluminum hilt with three finish options: raw aluminum, raw aluminum and black, and black and raw aluminum. In the future the company intends to offer an option utilizing some brass components as well. Hilt breaks down into six main pieces: angled emitter, gear style collar, hilt body, two rotating reveal doors, and notched pommel with sound vents on the bottom. The two reveal cutouts may accommodate a crystal reveal feature and a variety of switch setups.
Hilt includes: black thumbscrew for blade retention, x2 button head screws (to secure the rotating reveal doors), x1 6-32 allen key, x1 6-32 set screw, x1 chassis component set. Electronics are not included in the kit, so the buyer must source their own electronics and soundboard.
