The Custom Saber Shop (TCSS) is teasing the Green Mamba lightsaber, a new and more affordable sibling for the legendary Black Mamba lightsaber. The complex Black Mamba lightsaber is arguably one of the most intriguing lightsabers of all time. The Custom Saber Shop describes the Green Mamba lightsaber as a reworking of the Black Mamba “into a less complicated (and cheaper) hilt.” The company states that Green Mamba is now moving from the design phase into the prototype phase.

Acerocket/Orbital Machining, who works for The Custom Saber Shop, and Slothfurnace developed the original Black Mamba lightsaber in 2013 as an extremely detailed and complex reveal lightsaber. One empty Black Mamba hilt consists of 224 parts. Only 8 Black Mamba lightsabers were produced and cost a hefty $3200 per unassembled empty lightsaber hilt (plus Paypal fees and shipping) during the hilt’s micro run.
