LEGO Star Wars Battle Packs are a collection of small LEGO sets focused on “building your army” of minifigures sharing the same allegiance or theme. A typical Battle Pack contains 3 to 4 minfigures and a small vehicle and/or outpost equipment. Set piece count is typically around 100 pieces, but ranges from 63 pieces to 178 pieces. LEGO recommends the sets for ages 6 to 12.
Since the Battle Pack sets emphasize minifigures, feature a low piece count, and a lower price point than many LEGO sets, fans may conveniently purchase multiples of the same pack in order to build their army of a respective faction.

LEGO launched first Star Wars Battle Packs in 2007. The company released other non-Star Wars themed Battle Packs as well, mostly from the Castle theme. As of 2023, there are 42 Star Wars LEGO Battle Packs.
Price
Initial sets from the product line featured a retail price of $9.99. Some 2022 and 2023 sets retail for $19.99. Once sets are discontinued, third party sellers often sell the sets for a higher-than-retail price due to scarcity.
