The LEGO Star Wars Microfighters series, a subtheme of Star Wars LEGO, is comprised of small, mini-scale ships or other vehicles with exaggerated features. Each set includes one or more buildable vehicles. A corresponding minifigure pilots each respective vehicle from an exterior mini cockpit or saddle. These sets are small–a couple inches across or so.
LEGO launched the Microfighters series in 2014. The company releases a new wave of sets each year. As of early 2022, the series includes 35 sets. LEGO recommends the sets for ages 6 to 12.
