The Jawa’s Junkyard Visions SOP lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber is inspired by one of the katana lightsabers in Star Wars Visions (2021). The high-end machined metal hilt would be available as a empty hilt (DIY, no electronics). Jawa’s Junkyard opened an interest list for the Visions SOP limited run in late December 2021. The hilt would be the most complex (and most expensive) hilt design to date from Jawa’s Junkyard.

The Visions SOP lightsaber hilt will be machined from metal in one two ways: aluminum with brass and copper accents (premium) or all aluminum with anodized accent colors (cheaper). The blade holder accepts a 7/8 inch diameter blade. Jawa’s Junkyard is considering working with Ripper Blades to get a flat acrylic katana blade made for the hilt (unconfirmed collaboration).
The hilt is both the most complex and most expensive hilt by Jawa’s Junkyard. Visions SOP features a particularly intricate tsuba (handguard) and pommel (with side sound vents). The hilt utilizes a functional rocker switch in the activation box as well. A cutout section in the lower shroud reveals the grooved base hilt beneath.
Jawa’s Junkyard is an Australia based custom saber company specializing in limited runs of niche character inspired lightsaber hilts.
