The Hasbro Star Wars: The Black Series Leia Organa Force FX Elite lightsaber has been unveiled. The lightsaber is inspired by the blue-bladed Leia Organa lightsaber that comes into the possession of Rey Skywalker.
The officially licensed lightsaber joins the Hasbro-manufactured Star Wars Force FX lightsaber lineup. The Force FX product line encompasses an selection of realistic, collectible metal lightsabers that light up and make sound. The Leia Organa Force FX Elite Lightsaber is available for pre-order. The lightsaber is schedule for release in fall 2022.

The Leia Organa Force FX Elite lightsaber includes: the metal hilt, removable lightsaber blade, and a vertical stand for displaying the lightsaber (with or without the blade attached). The lightsaber also includes two different emitter pieces: one emitter that accepts the blade and one closer-to-screen-accurate thin neck emitter for display purposes. A convenient D-ring attaches to the base of the hilt, enabling the wielder to wear the hilt on their belt with a belt clip (sold separately).
The lightsaber makes a variety of sounds including: ignition/retraction, idle hum, motion sensitive swing sounds, etc. Use buttons on the hilt to activate lightsaber sound and visual effects including: progressive ignition/retraction (i.e. lightsaber scrolling effect), blaster bolt deflect, and molten blade tip effect (i.e. tip drag effect). Lightsaber requires 3 AA batteries (not included).
