The Darth Momin lightsabers are a pair of two single-bladed red lightsabers wielded by Darth Momin in Star Wars Canon. Each hilt features an angled handguard extending out of the emitter. Darth Momin is a mask-wearing humanoid Sith Lord with a deep interest in dark side artifacts and knowledge. He exists sometime before the Rise of the Empire. Darth Shaa rescues a young Momin from imprisonment and takes him as her Sith apprentice.

Darth Momin Lightsabers in Star Wars Canon
At a young age, Momin began forming and manipulating artwork using the Force. Those around him become disturbed and threatened by his artwork, perceiving it as morbid and grotesque. He is arrested and imprisoned for his art. The Sith Lord Darth Shaa learns Momin’s story and whereabouts. She kills his guards, rescues him, and takes him as her Sith apprentice.
Momin uses two lightsabers to construct a mask for himself. He then disfigures his face before putting on the mask for the first time. Darth Shaa trains him as a Sith. She teaches him lightsaber skills and about many aspects of the dark side. Momin takes the title Darth. He dislikes Darth Shaa calling herself his master since he believes he is better than her. Darth Momin and Darth Shaa engage in a lightsaber duel. Momin defeats and kills her.
Following the death of Darth Shaa, Momin becomes a dark side scholar and roams the galaxy for Sith holocrons, artifacts, and knowledge of the dark side. He vows to take on no Sith apprentice of his own, but Momin does acquire a group of acolytes who help him in his quest. With the assistance of his acolyte, he develops a weapon capable of destroying an entire city.
As Momin begins unleashing the weapon on a city, the Jedi disrupt him and he loses control of the weapon. Instead of destroying the city, he causes his own apparent destruction. He vaporizes himself and traps his spirit inside his mask.
Many years later, the Momin mask is stored in a secret vault at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. In 19 BBY, Darth Vader takes the mask from the Jedi Temple and eventually takes the mask with him to the Sith cave on the planet Mustafar. Vader reaches out with the Force. Momin reveals his past to Vader before trying to possess Vader with the mask. Darth Momin, who is using a host body, dupes Darth Vader into constructing a Sith fortress, later known as Fortress Vader, with a door to the dark side. Momin channels the dark side of the Force, walks through the door and successfully resurrects himself.
Calling Vader weak, the resurrected Darth Momin engages Darth Vader in a lightsaber duel. During the duel, Momin cuts off Vader’s lightsaber hand. Vader eventually overwhelms Momin, however, using the Force to crush the resurrected Sith Lord with a boulder.

The Darth Momin lightsabers first appear in a flashback in the comic book Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith 22 (2018).
