The machined aluminum hilt features a silver finish with black accents in the ribbed switch section and lower grip section with vertical grooves. Despite the thin neck appearance of the hilt, the blade socket depth measures about 1.25 inches. The saber hilt accepts a 1 inch diameter neopixel blade (not included).
The blade holder connects to a black switch section, with features deep v-notched grooves (or ribbing). The hilt diameter narrows to form a choke point. The lower grip section, which features a black middle section with a series of spaced out vertical grooves, attaches to a notched pommel with sound vents. The hilt breaks down into three primarily pieces: emitter/switch section, lower body, and pommel.
The Thrasher lightsaber, configured as a neopixel saber, operates using a Plecter Labs Crystal Focus 10 (CFX soundboard). The wielder activates the saber with a recessed illuminated white ring switch and access secondary features through the silver momentary aux switch. Powered by a removable 18650 li-ion battery, the saber features a recharge port inside the hilt and a 28 mm speaker.
The company offers to weather the hilt at no additional fee. Additional custom powder coating options are available as well as an upgrade.
