REVIEW Saberforge Nova Lightsaber Review | Warrior Tier, Green Blade
The Saberforge Nova lightsaber is a custom saber design that simultaneously exudes complexity along with elegance and symmetry. The Nova lightsaber is an original Saberforge design and is not character inspired. My Nova saber is equipped with a green in-hilt LED and configured as a Warrior Tier Saber, meaning the saber lights up but does not make sound.

The Saberforge Nova lightsaber, in the Standard Finish, is two-toned black and silver in color (Weathered, and Black versions of the hilt are available as well). The hilt boasts an extremely even and balanced distribution between the amount of black coloring on the hilt and the amount of metallic silver coloring on the hilt. At 10.5 inches long, the hilt is neither terribly long nor terribly short. Nova accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. The hilt is primarily comprised of two parts: the hilt body and the threaded pommel.
The slightly flared emitter on top of the hilt marks the widest point in the hilt design, with a few grooves stacked below it. A parabolic-shaped cutout section is situated below the emitter on both the front face of the hilt and also the rear. A stack of three horizontal window slots are located in each cutout section. Each window decreases in length as you move down the hilt.
Below the emitter section, the activation switch section features an activation switch and a recharge port below it (the recharge port is an upgrade feature on some configurations). Horizontal, stadium-shaped details are milled into the front face of the switch section while a series of thin vertical grooves are milled into the rear of the switch section. The lower grip section of the hilt is comprised of a series of six recessed cutout sections on the front face of the hilt and six on the rear. A Covertec wheel attaches to the lower part of the hilt. The removable vented pommel is adorned with two additional cutout sections.
Saberforge, based in Oregon, is one of the largest custom sabers companies in the world. The company offers empty hilts and installed lightsabers.
