Jaymoo’s Playground Savi’s Workshop Compatible Lightsaber Blade
The Jaymoo’s Playground Savi’s Workshop compatible lightsaber blade attaches to a Savi’s Workshop lightsaber or a character inspired legacy lightsaber from Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. The custom blade illuminates the color of the kyber crystal installed in the Savi’s Workshop lightsaber OR in the fixed blade color assigned to a legacy lightsaber (e.g. red blade for the Darth Vader legacy lightsaber, purple blade for the Mace Windu legacy lightsaber, etc.).
The custom Jaymoo’s Playground blade features bright, vibrant colors and “fixes” some of the Savi’s Workshop blade colors to make them look more realistic. The yellow blade and purple blade, for example, are much more rich in color. Additionally, the Jaymoo’s Playground Savi’s Workshop compatible lightsaber blade supports the unreleased orange blade color and teal blade color. By comparison, the official Savi’s Workshop lightsaber blade CANNOT emit an orange blade or a teal blade.
Jaymoo’s Playground custom Kyber Crystals (RFID-equipped)
Jaymoo’s Playground offers 9 different kyber crystal colors, including: red, blue, green, purple, yellow, white, black and the illusive, unreleased orange kyber crystal and teal kyber crystal. The custom kyber crystals are a bit slimmer in design than official Galaxy’s Edge kyber crystals. The outer ‘shell’ of all of the crystals is comprised of clear plastic, with an embedded core comprised of one of the 9 different colors.
Each custom kyber crystal is embedded with an RFID chip, programmed to determine the blade color of a Savi’s Workshop lightsaber blade. The kyber crystal is also programmed to unlock Star Wars character voices in the Galaxy’s Edge Jedi and Sith Holocrons from Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. The orange and teal kyber crystals do not unlock any character voices.
Note that the teal kyber crystal and the orange kyber crystal ONLY change the color of the Savi’s Workshop crystal chamber accent lighting, when used in conjunction with an official Savi’s Workshop lightsaber blade (the teal crystal will unlock a blue blade and the orange crystal will unlock a yellow blade). The custom Jaymoo’s Playground Savi’s Workshop lightsaber blade supports the unreleased orange blade color and teal blade color. That means the custom blade will actually illuminate orange when an orange kyber crystal is installed in the crystal chamber and actually illuminate teal when a teal kyber crystal is installed in the crystal chamber.
Jaymoo’s Playground custom Blade Plug adapter
A Savi’s Workshop lightsaber ordinarily cannot accommodate a lightsaber blade plug. Jaymoo’s Playground has developed a custom blade plug adapter kit, enabling the lightsaber enthusiast to add a 1 inch diameter blade plug to a Savi’s Workshop lightsaber.
