Ultimate Works released an affordable neopixel saber configuration of the Bors the Dragonslayer lightsaber. Ultimate Works had previously released the Bors the Dragonslayer lightsaber design in 2018 as a sound saber with an in-hilt LED. The new Bors the Dragonslayer neopixel lightsaber is currently one of the most budget friendly neopixel lightsabers on the market. The neopixel lightsaber is available from The Pach Store for $289.
The Bors the Dragonslayer hilt, which features a gunmetal finish or light metal (i.e. silver) finish, is comprised of two main pieces: the body (the emitter is built-in) and removable pommel. The emitter section features a series of short spines or fins that alternate with a series of vertical windows in the emitter. The lightsaber uses an illuminated AV activation switch and an aux switch in order to change the blade color and activate effects including: blaster bolt deflect, Flash on Clash, lockup, etc. A protective chassis helps safeguard the soundboard, in-hilt recharge port, the SD card access and the 2W speaker.
Bors the Dragonslayer is available as a neopixel saber equipped with an Asteria V2 board or as a neopixel saber equipped with a Proffieboard. Both neopixel sabers include a 36 inch neopixel lightsaber blade. The neopixel saber includes 9 blade styles, 5 blade effects and 4 power up effects. Alternatively, an in-hilt Tri-Cree LED configuration is available as well (blade not included). Both the neopixel and in-hilt LED configurations run on a rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion battery.
Ultimate Works Bors the Dragonslayer lightsaber is available for purchase from The Pach Store. The Pach Store is a Hong Kong based custom saber company. The company offers a variety of budget friendly and midrange custom sabers.
