Insidious is a polished aluminum hilt kit with powder coated accents. The hilt kit is comprised of four main parts: blade holder, main body, sleeve (shroud), and vented pommel (the pommel is also drilled and threaded for a recharge port). The threaded parts screw together. An M4 blade retention screw is installed on the hilt. An aluminum and cooper heat sink is included. Two switches holes are drilled into the hilt for a tactile switch setup (kit includes two brass switch caps for standard 6.2mm tactile switches). Insidious is 26 cm long, has an inside diameter (ID) of 29, and the emitter is designed to accepts a 1 inch diameter blade.

Originally available for purchase from Jevaho Creations Insidious, the final two kits are being sold by Force Relics (Etsy).
