The Saberforge Archon lightsaber has been released. The custom saber is an original design featuring an emitter shroud. The lightsaber is available as an empty hilt (no electronics), stunt saber (light, no sound), or sound saber. The Saberforge Archon lightsaber was first released in July 2015.

The Saberforge Archon lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined aluminum hilt. The hilt measures 14 inches long, making the hilt suitable for a two-handed grip. The Standard finish hilt is two-toned predominantly chrome with black accents (Note: Early versions of the Archon in Standard finish were not chromed). Archon is also offered Weathered (tarnished black/silver) or Black (all black). Custom powder coated color options are available as an upgrade.
The Archon hilt design incorporates two shrouds. The top shroud ends and the bottom shroud begins near the middle of the hilt. Both shrouds incorporate cutout sections and feature milled lines and details. A decorative low profile activation box (not functional) attaches near the emitter. A large cutout section in the lower shroud reveals an anodized black hilt body and switches below.
Saberforge Archon features a standard blade socket and an inside diameter (ID) of 1 inch. Archon accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. Archon is one of the few Saberforge hilts equipped with both a Covertech wheel on the lower part of the hilt and a D-ring on the vented pommel.
