Jawa’s Junkyard Yodie lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber is inspired by the design of Yoda’s Padawan lightsaber in the animated series Young Jedi Adventures (Yoda gifts the saber to Padawan Kai Brightstar). Jawa’s Junkyard offers the Yodie lightsaber, a limited run, as an empty hilt capable of accepting electronics. The company began accepting pre-orders in July 2023.

The diminutive Yodie lightsaber is comprised of a machined brass and T6 6061 aluminum hilt. The brass accents give the hilt a regal, High Republic era sensibility. Hilt, which is a Yoda-sized (i.e. shoto length), measures 14.23 cm long (about 5.6 in). Blade holder accepts a 7/8 in diameter blade (not included). Hilt kit includes 1/4 in wide genuine leather wrap for a DIY ito wrap in the grip section.
Jawa’s Junkyard is offering a special collector’s edition of the hilt. The collector’s edition includes a custom-made name plate signed by Piotr Michael, the voice actor for Yoda in the Young Jedi Adventure series. Collector’s edition is limited to 10 units.
