Saberforge Tri-Fighter Lightsaber has been released. The custom saber, and original design, features a series of three notched emitter shrouds. Although the hilt shares a name with the Clone Wars era Separatist tri-fighters, the shrouds more closely resemble the wings of an Imperial TIE fighter. Multiple finish options and electronics configurations are available. Saberforge released the new hilt in late April 2023.

Tri-Fighter lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined aluminum hilt that measures 13.125 inches long with an outside diameter of 1.5 inches. Blade holder accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. A series of three notched emitter shrouds encircle the blade holder. Shroud shape and detailing resemble a TIE fighter wing. Spaces between the shrouds reveal a series of vertical, stadium-shaped windows. Hilt tapers beneath the emitter to form a choke point for increased maneuverability and control.
The recessed switch section is situated in the middle of the hilt. Saberforge offers two grip section styles. The regular version features a grenade-style grip section with vertical v-shaped notches. Saberforge also offers a wrapped version of the hilt. The wrapped version comes with a synthetic leather wrap by default (multiple color selections) with the option to upgrade to genuine leather, paracord, or ito wrap. Finally, the flared pommel create a palm pivot grip in the tradition of the European longsword.
Saberforge offers the hilt empty (for DIY) and also installed. Installed saber options include: Stunt Saber (single color baselit LED, no sound), First Harvest (RGB baselit LED, basic sound), Golden Harvest RGB (RGB baselit LED, premium sound), or Golden Harvest Pixel Saber (pixel saber with sound).
