Jawa’s Junkyard Millennium Rod lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber, a mashup design, takes inspiration from the ancient Egyptian Millennium Rod from the Yu-Gi-Oh series. Jawa’s Junkyard unveiled the Millennium Rod lightsaber, a limited run, in mid March 2023. Hilt is available empty for display or DIY.

Millennium Rod lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined T6 6061 hilt. Hilt has a polished finish that is anodized to resemble brass and black accents in the eye. Hilt accepts a 1 in diameter blade at the top of the sphere section. Inside of the hilt has about 1 in diameter of room for an electronics installation. Kit includes a dedicated 1 in diameter blade plug to cover the sphere. Center of the eye section is designed for creating a shine through effect.
Hilt intentionally lacks any exterior switches. The Millennium Rod lightsaber is intended to be installed with a soundboard capable of gesture control. Jawa’s Junkyard states that a chassis will become available.
In the Yu-Gi-Oh series, the Millennium Rod is a powerful ancient Egyptian artifact. The individual holding the rod gains mind control of those around them.
