The Rahm Kota lightsaber is comprised of a machined aluminum hilt. Hilt measures 12.4 inches long and features a 1.4 inch outside diameter in the grip section. One of the distinct feature of the hilt is the emitter. Emitter features a barrel-shaped taper that gets smaller closer to the tip. Hilt features two strategically discreet holes: a 4-40 retention screw hole (grub screw included) and small switch hole with discreet switch plunger.

Hilt comes with an aluminum finish. Buyer may choose to paint and wrap the hilt or commission a sabersmith. The company recommends using 1 mm thick, 5 mm wide leather for a screen accurate wrap (brown or black).

Kit includes two removable pommels: a static pommel and a pommel with circular sound vents. Peacekeeper’s Armory notes that the pommel threading is small so ensure the threading is greased and use caution when swapping pommels. Each hilt kit also includes: two mounting screws, two sets of battery contacts, brass tactile switch and a FDM printed chassis. Chassis may fit two 18650 li-ion batteries–wielder may use one or two batteries at once.

Peacekeeper’s Armory recommends contacting sabersmith Joss Rose from SiriusSabers for commissioning a “super game accurate finish” (including the paint finish and challenging diamond-shaped, katana style tsuka ito leather wrap work). Peacekeeper’s Armory will also offer an intricate master chassis option (commission only).
