AusSabers The Light Lightsaber has been released. The Light, a custom saber with an in-house design by AusSabers, takes design cues from several Prequel Trilogy hilts. The Light is available as EcoSwing (budget in-hilt LED saber) or pixel saber (with budget Xenopixel or Proffieboard soundboard). AusSabers released The Light in October 2022. The company plans to offer an empty hilt version at a later time.

The Light is comprised of a machined aluminum hilt with brass accents and a bright and shiny polished finish. Hilt measures 265 mm with an grip diameter 34 mm. Note the hilt uses genuine brass and will naturally tarnish over time. Buyer may choose polish the brass and add a clear coat in order to avoid weathering.
Upper hilt features a flared emitter, two metallic red thumbscrews, milled details and a recessed illuminated switch. Hilt diameter narrows to a 30 mm, Mace Windu-like choke point at a ribbed brass section. Lower grip section is comprised of a silver part with horizontal grooves and a black part with thin, elegant vertical fins. A Covertec wheel attaches to the lower part of the hilt.
AusSabers offers The Light in three configurations: EcoSwing (budget in-hilt LED sound saber with blade), Xeno (budget pixel saber with pixel blade), or Proffie (standard pixel saber with pixel blade). All sabers come pre-loaded with sound fonts. AusSabers states that they intend to offer The Light as a empty hilt for DIY as well.
